ARAG’s head of sales Andy Talbot will now be doing double duty at the legal expenses and assistance provider as he takes charge of both the after-the-event (ATE) and before-the-event (BTE) sales teams.
“I’m very pleased to be adding the ATE sales team to my remit at a time when ARAG is expanding our sales operations,” said Talbot, who has led the BTE unit since the business was established in the UK in 2006. “Both our BTE and ATE sales teams are well-established and full of experience, but it’s great to be adding some new faces to the line-up.”
With “new faces,” Talbot was referring to the two account managers coming onboard as part of the expansion. Joining ARAG are Basil Anderson and Paul Morgan, who bring with them significant experience in account management.
New corporate account manager Anderson will be working with insurers, financial institutions, and Managing General Agents (MGAs). He has worked at RSA, Allianz, and Bank of Ireland.
Morgan, meanwhile, will foster relationships with law firms and intermediaries in his capacity as a member of the ATE sales team. His focus will be South Wales and the South West of England.
“Paul and Basil come to us with plenty of experience and highly successful account management careers already behind them,” commented Talbot. “I know that they are both really excited to be taking up their new roles, so it’s a real pleasure to welcome them to ARAG.”
