National Friendly streamlines process for brokers | Insurance Business

National Friendly, which prides itself on its high level of broker support and service, has launched a web portal to make closing a sale much easier. 

Designed around the day-to-day needs of the friendly society’s broker panel, the new portal provides immediate access to pertinent documents such as application forms and sales brochures. Aimed at enhancing the process for brokers with new business, the portal features streamlined submission and a quoting tool that even comes with illustrations. 

“Many of our brokers like the convenience of having all the key policy documents close to hand, 24/7,” said broker sales support administrator Isabelle Garnier. “Our new portal gives them this convenience; it also means a broker can access key documents at any time of the day to suit them, once they have registered with us.”

A former AXA PPP underwriter with about one and a half decades of insurance industry experience, Garnier has just been appointed to the newly created role and is in charge of overseeing the portal.

“Isabelle has joined at an exciting time, as we build sales across our insurance portfolios via our broker partners,” said Wayne Carter, head of sales and marketing at National Friendly. “Her role will be pivotal in supporting National Friendly to help people prepare for life’s uncertainties; a value held dear to the society today, as much as it was 150 years ago when it was born.”
