Thefinancial markets Authority has appointed Frédéric Pérodeau to the position of superintendent of the assistance to clients and the supervision of the distribution, he held from the 22nd January next. This announcement comes a few months after the departure ofEric Stevenson last October.
Mr. Pérodeau joined the Authority in 2012 as the director of litigation services, and then senior director of investigations. He has been involved with the Authority canadian securities administrators (CSA) and has chaired the committee on the implementation of the act. He was also president of thecanadian Association of corporate counsel and is currently chair of the professional inspection committee of the Barreau du Québec.
