Great-West will contribute $ 300,000 over three years at the Creative Destruction Lab in the Rotman school of management, theUniversity of Toronto, an incubator for technology businesses, including fintech. The lab helps entrepreneurs transform their ideas into marketable products and services.
The program, lasting nine months, provides entrepreneurs access to industry mentors, provides support in business development of the share of commerce students and funding opportunities with venture capital firms.

Meetings with companies
More than 100 companies are registered this year in the program of the Creative Destruction Lab. The members of the startups participating were able to take part in sessions of a day where they were able to get some advice on the creation and growth of technology companies.
During the sessions, Great-West has met Awake Labs, a company in digital health, which offers tools to facilitate the care of brain disorders and mental health.
