Martel & Martel rewarded for the management of human resources

The Chamber of commerce of the MRC de l’assomption has submitted to Martel & Martel Insurance business and collective the Award of Distinction in the category of human resources Management, during its annual Gala which took place on may 4.

The panel of judges has selected the ten partnerships recently concluded by the firm that enable it to offer its customers products that are unique in Québec. In particular, the agreement with Altius, founded by Kathy Tremblay, olympian, helped Martel & Martel to establish the active living Program to teach employees healthy lifestyles in order to counter absenteeism, and other common problems. Other agreements have been signed, including with the Centre for evaluation and rehabilitation.

Balancing work and health

«The problems of work-health becomes heavier. Entrepreneurs the tools they need to ensure the well-being of their human capital to address, among other evils, the high rate of absenteeism and of presenteeism, while modernizing their benefits to costs lower and increase productivity, » explained Anne and Richard Martel, co-chairs of Martel & Martel.

Moreover, during its annual competition organised in all the regions of Quebec, the Committee on standards, equity, health and safety in the workplace (CNESST) awarded to Martel & Martel is the Award for Innovation in health and safety in the workplace for its active living Program, last October.
