RBC Insurance recently launched Journey, a free mobile app that allows customers with a travel insurance access to many useful features during a trip : advice to travelers, information on the insurance policy, sending notices by e-mail to family and friends, and even a system of geolocation to find the doctor or medical facility nearby in case of emergency.
According to a recent survey on travel conducted by RBC Insurance, one-in-three (36 %) experienced an unpleasant situation while travelling. Among them, 14 % went to a doctor or to the hospital to receive care because of an illness. Finally, almost one in ten (7 %) also stated to have needed help, but may not have known where to go.

Thanks to the app the Way, clients of RBC Insurance can find the help they need in the journey in one click. «
Available on all devices equipped with the systems iOS and Android, Path is the result of the work of students taking part in the program RBC boosts. It can now be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play by searching for RBC PATH.
