SSQ Insurance has joined the telemedicine platform Dialog to offer to its employees and covered by collective access to services of health professionals. Thus, it will be possible for the participants to make a consultation by videoconference with general practitioners.
In addition, policyholders will be able to chat with nurses, to issue and renew prescriptions, and to refer to specialists. SSQ says that the addition of the platform is upgrading the benefits offered to employees and gives them a better work-family balance, in addition to reducing absenteeism.
«We have worked in close collaboration with Dialogue from march 2017, in order to analyze the best way to integrate the platform in a context of group insurance. We confirmed the relevance of this service from employers and are convinced of the benefits both for them and for all of their employees, » says Louis Régimbal, vice-president of Strategy and innovation at SSQ Insurance.
SSQ said that it referred already to some of its customers to the platform in Dialogue with a advantageous rate, and this has led to a complete integration of the platform to its offer to the collective. The deployment will occur during the next few months for eligible employers.
