Sun Life launches the platform Go to Sun Life

The Sun Life Financial has today launched its Web platform, Go to Sun Life, on which consumers can buy life insurance online. The process has less than 10 questions on the state of health and takes less than 10 minutes to complete, depending on the insurer. An application can be filled out using a computer, a smart phone or a tablet.

The platform also offers several points of contact for the customer, either on the Web, on the phone or in person. Gb Sun Life has the function to save its data and continue the application later. Reminder messages automatic help customers to complete the process.

Three products available

Currently, only three products can be purchased from Gb Sun Life. The first, guaranteed life insurance, available to persons 30 to 74 years old, has a coverage maximum of $ 25,000. No question on the state of health is not asked and the school is guaranteed.

The second product is a term life insurance simplified, including the maximum coverage is $ 100,000. Intended for persons 18 to 69 years of age, only three questions are asked on the state of health.

The final product is a term life insurance for which the maximum coverage is $ 1 million. Eleven questions on the state of health are asked, but no examination of the vital signs or levy are not required for applicants in good health up to 40 years. This product is also intended for persons 18 to 69 years. Sun Life mentions that other products offered by the insurer will be available eventually, including critical illness insurance.
