The Coalition for the promotion of professions in the property and casualty insurance is associated with Finance Montréal to conduct a study on the skills of the future in insurance. «The industry is transformed by technology, particularly in regard to the relations with the clients, the detection and management of risks, the determination of premiums and the settlement of claims,» says Robert LaGarde, CEO of the Coalition.
«There has already been a change since according to the latest survey on the needs of the workforce, 87 % of companies confirm that the evolution of technologies has an impact on the competencies sought in candidates. This is why it is necessary to focus now on the issue. «
The Coalition and Finance Montréal has mandated the company Aviseo Council to conduct the study. Aviseo probe of the enterprises of the industry and training bodies to paint a portrait of the ecosystem of damage insurance in Quebec, to analyze the transformation and the skills of the future for the main professions.
